Since sleep comfort is such an individual thing, here's my profile:I'm a side sleeper, 6'1", about 230 lbs (some extra around the middle).Previous mattresses: Simmons Beautyrest, Sealy Posturepedic.Like all really good viscoelastic foam, this mattress conforms to your body shape with heat (Note: its quite firm when cold). The process takes about 30 seconds once you stop moving. Once done, your body weight is really well distributed. The manufacturer got the density right on this model. The top 2" or so have a fair amount of give , so it conforms well, while the lower layers are much firmer for support.So, how am I sleeping? Like the dead! I used to roll constantly on innerspring mattresses. I've had this foam mattress for a month now, and there have been several nights where I HAVEN'T ROLLED ONCE! I figure that I'm rolling about 2-5 times most nights. In addition, I've had no back pain since! Finally, it doesn't sleep hot like some foam mattresses. This model has a very high quality cover that distributes heat nicely.Some thoughts for other types of sleepers: I figure that this mattress would also be great for a back sleeper (I've never been as comfortable lying on my back as I am on this mattress). Stomach sleepers, however, should probably steer clear. The combo of no skeletal support and high heat reserves from all of that blood flowing around your stomach makes for an uncomforable experience on foam. I just received this mattress 1/2 an hour ago. I haven't slept on it yet but I wanted to give a comparison to the Tempur-Pedic Deluxe model since this listing says it feels like the Tempur-Pedic Deluxe. Earlier today my wife and I went to a mattress store that had the Tempur-Pedic models and well as the Sealy Posturpedic. Prior to getting this mattress today we laid on all the Tempur-Pedic models and all the Sealy Models. You can definitely tell a difference between each model in each line. The Tempur-Pedic Deluxe is the most comfortable to us. We laid on the mattress and tried to really absorb the feeling and memorize how it felt. We came home and then this one was delivered. To both of us, and to our great pleasure it feels exactly the same. No better, no worse - exactly the same.It was easy to set up. The cover is already on all the different layers. The mattress itself is delivered rolled up and it is heavy. I am guessing it weighs 120 lbs at least though I could be wrong due to it being large and bulky and hard to handle. To set it up I just put the roll on the bed, cut away at the plastic it is wrapped in and in 5 minutes it had unvacuum packed itself.One comment I would like to make regarding this mattress and the return policy. The sellers state they will accept a return if you are not happy with it, but you will be responsible to ship it back to them. Not as comfortable as I'd hoped. I'm going to try with a 2 inch topper on 5 lb memory foam and hopefully it will help.

Since we got this bed about 1 month ago, I haven't been up with back pain once and don't constantly toss and turn all through the night to get comfortable. The quality of my sleep had improved beyond belief. My husband says he is sleeping better too.We had slept on a Tempur-Pedic while on vacation and liked it. Since that vacation we had been discussing buying one but I really didn't like the price that went with the Tempur-Pedic brand. When I found this bed on Amazon I had a hard time convincing my husband to try it. He was hesitant because he thought it was so much cheaper than the equivalent Tempur-Pedic (or any decent traditional mattress for that matter) it couldn't possible be any good. Fortunately I was persistent enough to wear him down.We are both extremely happy with the bed. He says he notices a slight difference between this bed and the name brand one but I don't. (I don't think it could get any better than this bed.) I've become a walking advertisement to all our friends and family. I've tried Tempurpedic in the showroom and knew I had to have a memory foam mattress. Of course, I never spent the whole night on one until I received this one yesterday. It is nearly identical to the original Tempurpedic for a fraction of the cost. I've spent the past 20 years on a baffle-free waterbed, so I knew going to a regular mattress was going to be an adjustment. I think I can get used to it though, and I'm glad I didn't go with a traditional boxspring mattress.This arrived amazingly fast! I ordered on the weekend of 6/27 and had it delivered to my door in 8 days from CA to West Central FL!The "chemical smell" noted by other memory foam buyers isn't bad. I can only smell it slightly with my face buried in the mattress (I'm a stomach sleeper). I have psoriatic arthritis, and when I woke up this morning I noticed my shoulders and hips didn't hurt. My husband has had multiple back surgeries and he slept comfortably on it. He thinks that, he too, can get used to it! The only complaint that he had was that his back was sweating, but he was used to a cold waterbed mattress. The cheapest Tempurpedic knock-off I could find locally was $899 for a queen size 10" mattress. I got this 12" mattress for $497 with FREE SHIPPING!Thanks SleepShop!

I am very pleased with this mattress. I have back problems and always wake up with a backache, but this mattress has solved that. I'm a side sleeper and this mattress has helped alot. It came within a week from [...] which I thought was pretty fast shipping for such a big item. I do recommend you check his website first before you buy because it is [...] cheaper there, but since I had already purchased on Amazon he did give me a little discount refund. The mattress seemed very firm at first because I was used to sleeping on a very thick pillowtop, but i adjusted the first night and realized it is a comfortable firm feel that hugs around you. Also, don't believe all the talk about a horrible smell. We slept on it the very first night with no problems. Sure it has a little smell at first, but not nearly as severe as a lot of reviews say. We love this mattress.

This item was delivered well packaged and we opened it and it was back to full size in a day. We waited two more days to put it on the bed and find it very comfortable and we have been getting a good night's sleep. Both my wife and I tend to sleep close to the edge of the bed and this mattress has returned to normal after we get up. This was the issue with our pillow top inner spring. The dogs and cats love the new bed as well. In fact they tried it out before we put it on the bed.

We've had this mattress about 6 weeks now, I wanted to sleep on it before I reviewed it. Over all it's a nice mattress, but we did have two small issues to address, and they were easy to remedy. First is the heat, the mattress does retain body heat, so I put a polyfil comforter under the fitted sheet and that solved that, second problem, we needed more support in the lumbar region. For that we used an orthopedic foam inserted where we needed the extra support, problem solved. We are both light-weight, active, athelitic people in our 40's and we like the mattress.

I will preface this by saying though I am very active, I have had lower back issues my whole life. Including surgery. I am not wealthy so finding the right mattress - for the lowest price was very important. Some facts you should consider when buying a mattress. 1) Comfort does not equal support. Most people think comfort is the most important, not true. IF you have any back issues forget about the cushy beds and pillowtops - you can't have it both ways. If your back is fine - then the cushy cushy is fine. I have had doctors, surgeons, and chiropractors tell me "get a supportive" mattress. This mattress is VERY firm, VERY supportive. There is NO motion transfer to the other person in the bed when you get in or out. If you like memory foam pillows, your gonna love this bed. 2) Not all memory foam is the same. GET THE lbs/ per sq foot. I did so much research my wife was annoyed, but The more dense the foam, the more support and the better the longevity of the mattress. I looked at the novafoam, but its far less dense. I looked at the temperpedic and this mattress has the exact same density, at 1/3 the price.The 5.3 lbs per sq foot is the exct same as the expensive temperpedic. I LOVE THIS BED. The only draw back is that its made in China and the quality control standards and safety standards may not be the same - but I had to take a chance for the price. This bed and frame set is great. Received the bed in about a week(not bad since it comes from CA and I am on the other coast in CT). Me and my wife are sleeping so much better since we started sleeping on this bed. She is pregnant with our second child and she says she is actually comfortable. She could never get any sleep with our last child because she was always tossing and turning before with our old bed. Cannot beat the comfort or quality for this price.

After over 20 years on a waterbed (cylinder style) we felt it was time for a new mattress. I had been campaigning for a Tempurpedic mattress and even went to the store to look at them. The prices were a bit high and after some research found the Night Therapy mattress at a local box store. One neat thing was the fact the box had wheels on the bottom and a handle on the top so it was easy to get out of the pickup truck (150 pounds) and roll it into the bedroom. From there we just followed the instructions, cutting open the box and the bag and unfolding it.Unfortunately, the instructions showed that you should unroll it and simply fold it out. Had we done that the mattress would have been installed upside down. It didn't seem right that the zipper went on the top and the patterned mattress pad was on the bottom. A quick call to customer service assured us that we had figured right and the obvious thing was to turn the mattress over.The instructions say it might take 48 hours to reach fullness. Ours took less than 8 hours and we were sleeping on it that night. There is a smell as there is with anything involving memory foam and similar products. After a week the odor has for the most part disappeared. The mattress is a bit higher than our old broken-down waterbed and it's often a surprise when we leap out of bed and travel further before we hit the floor.But the glory of the mattress is that it is comfortable. I had bought a 10" Queen DynastyMattress for my daughter (previous review) and she loves it so I thought I'd give one a try. I replaced my $200 cheap spring mattress that I bought less than a year ago with a 12" Full DynastyMattress. As I mentioned in my previous review, I have never slept on a memory foam mattress before so I knew I was taking a chance. I've always thought that they were too hard.This mattress arrived about a week after I ordered it and uncompressed in a few hours. Yes, there is the smell but it didn't bother me and went away after about 3 or 4 days. The first night it seemed a little different than a regular mattress but I woke up without any back pain for the first time in over a week. After that, I forgot I was resting on memory foam and it just seems like a regular mattress to me. Not too firm and it springs back when I change positions. My wife really likes it but says she won't get one because her old Temper-Pedic made her too hot at night. I don't notice that but I like being warm anyway.Long story short, a sizable investment at $500 but worth every penny so far. No back pain and very comfortable. If I can get 5 years out of it I'll be very happy.

Just received the bed yesterday, slept on it last night and was fantastic. Shipped in one day from the time I ordered, must be that I am 5 miles from the Amazon Wharehouse. Opened the mattress and it decompressed in about an hour. There is a chemical smell, but it dicipates, either that or I am getting used to the smell. I put a fan in the room, to move the air, and there is really no smell unless you press your face right into it. I am used to conventional mattress and box springs, so I am sure there is going to be a period of adjustment, one thing, there is no jumping into bed without coming to an abrupt stop, my 5 year old is in for a treat... LOL

This memory stick crashed my Lenovo ThinkPad T410, for which it was supposed to be designed. I asked for a reimbursement, which I got rapidly and without problems. I had to pay a few dollars in shipping charges, though.
