Since sleep comfort is such an individual thing, here's my profile:I'm a side sleeper, 6'1", about 230 lbs (some extra around the middle).Previous mattresses: Simmons Beautyrest, Sealy Posturepedic.Like all really good viscoelastic foam, this mattress conforms to your body shape with heat (Note: its quite firm when cold). The process takes about 30 seconds once you stop moving. Once done, your body weight is really well distributed. The manufacturer got the density right on this model. The top 2" or so have a fair amount of give , so it conforms well, while the lower layers are much firmer for support.So, how am I sleeping? Like the dead! I used to roll constantly on innerspring mattresses. I've had this foam mattress for a month now, and there have been several nights where I HAVEN'T ROLLED ONCE! I figure that I'm rolling about 2-5 times most nights. In addition, I've had no back pain since! Finally, it doesn't sleep hot like some foam mattresses. This model has a very high quality cover that distributes heat nicely.Some thoughts for other types of sleepers: I figure that this mattress would also be great for a back sleeper (I've never been as comfortable lying on my back as I am on this mattress). Stomach sleepers, however, should probably steer clear. The combo of no skeletal support and high heat reserves from all of that blood flowing around your stomach makes for an uncomforable experience on foam.
